Terms & Conditions

This policy sets out the terms of Minninnooka memberships, from Social through Riding to HPA coverage. By joining, members agree to the following:

1. Membership Levels

  • Social Membership – Access to social events, workshops, and community gatherings. No riding included.

  • Riding Membership – Training, lessons, chukkas, and horse-related activities at Minninnooka (non-HPA).

  • HPA Membership (via Tedworth Park Polo Club) – Full riding and polo membership. Requires an active 12-month Minninnooka plan, with HPA, Pony Club, and SUPA subscriptions paid directly by the member to governing bodies.

2. Term & Payments

  • Social & Riding Memberships – Monthly or annual, auto-renewed unless cancelled.

  • HPA Memberships – Require a minimum 12-month commitment, paid via recurring payments.

  • Membership fees are non-refundable if cancelled early.

  • Missed payments may result in suspension or cancellation of membership and benefits.

3. Conduct & Welfare

  • Members must treat staff, horses, and fellow members with respect and courtesy.

  • Unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination.

  • Members must always follow horse welfare and safety standards.

4. Insurance & Risk

  • All participation is at members’ own risk.

  • Riding & HPA Members must hold appropriate personal accident and horse insurance.

  • Minninnooka accepts no liability for injury, accident, loss, or damage to persons, horses, or property.

5. Facilities Use

  • Access varies by membership level.

  • Under-18s must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

  • Members are responsible for the care and welfare of any horses they bring to Minninnooka.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Social & Riding Members – may cancel with one month’s written notice.

  • HPA Members – require 12 months minimum; after that, may cancel with one month’s written notice.

  • Membership fees are not refunded if cancelled early by the member.

7. Minninnooka Rights

  • Minninnooka may amend membership products, services, or pricing with one month’s notice.

  • Minninnooka may suspend or cancel memberships with one month’s notice, or immediately in cases of misconduct.

8. Data & Communication

  • Member data is handled in line with GDPR and used only for administration.

  • Members will be notified of updates via email and/or the Minninnooka website.

  • Members are responsible for keeping their contact details current.

9. Governing Rules

  • Riding and HPA memberships are subject to the rules of the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA) and other relevant equestrian governing bodies.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
