Polo Lessons and Coaching in Surrey

Australian heritage, Argentine polo roots and four generations of horsemen bringing polo to juniors and adults of all levels.

Who do we coach?

Juniors & Pony Club Riders

Fun, confidence-building coaching for young riders learning polo, improving riding skills, and developing teamwork both on and off the field.

Our structured coaching programme uses clear outcomes, coaching analysis, and progressive development to help children build confidence, coordination, game understanding, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

With accessible competitions throughout the year including SUPA, HPA, and Pony Club polo, riders gain valuable match experience while developing real skills and confidence both individually and as part of a team.

Adult Beginners

A welcoming introduction to polo for adults wanting to learn a new sport, improve their riding, or experience polo for the first time — no experience necessary.

At Mininnooka, our supportive community and structured coaching environment help riders build confidence at their own pace while enjoying the physical and mental benefits of riding and polo.

Polo is excellent for improving fitness, mobility, core strength, balance, coordination, and focus, while also providing a fun and social environment both on and off the field.

Whether you are returning to riding or starting completely from scratch, we provide clear coaching, supportive progression, and an encouraging atmosphere to help every rider develop confidence and skills over time.

Returning & Intermediate Players

Coaching tailored to riders looking to build confidence, improve technique, develop match play understanding, and progress into chukkas.

At Mininnooka, our structured coaching approach focuses on clear progression, helping riders improve riding position, swing technique, tactical awareness, and decision making in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Using instructional play, coaching analysis, and consistent feedback, we help riders develop confidence, game understanding, and the skills needed to progress comfortably into chukkas and competitive polo.

Competitive Players

Professional coaching, horse preparation, and match-focused training for players wanting to improve performance and advance their polo.

At Mininnooka, our structured coaching system focuses on refining riding position, swing technique, tactical understanding, horse management, and performance under pressure to help players progress with clarity and confidence.

Through instructional play, video analysis, and targeted coaching feedback, players develop stronger decision making, consistency, and match awareness while building the skills required for higher level chukkas and competitive polo.
